What happens next

I reply within one working day, usually sooner.
If your book needs typing: I'll ask for a few sample pages so I can see the handwriting, then complete a free manuscript assessment — the opening thousand words — so you can judge the work and I can quote accurately.
If it's already typed and needs formatting: send the file and I'll tell you which price applies and why, before anything is touched.
Either way you get a firm price before any work starts, with no obligation to go ahead.
